Niger Delta University is a state owned University that is located in Wilberforce,Bayelsa State. The university was founded in Bayelsa State under the administration of the then governor of Bayelsa State, Chief D.S.P. Alamieyeseigha.
It is a multi campus University with one campus situated in Yenagao this serve as the permanent while the other campus is situated in Amassoma hosting other faculties of the University.
