Adeleke University is a privately owned university that is located in Ede, Osun State. As you have guessed, the institution is owned by and established by Cheif Adedeji Adeleke, who is the father of the popular Nigerian musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.

Adeleke University was established through its Springtime Development Foundation (SDF), a foundation established by Adedeji Adeleke to help less privileged students in Nigeria.

Adeleke University was established in 2011 following the University Accreditation by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and Approval from the Federal Executive Council (FEC), who approved the running and establishment of the institution. Academic activities commenced that same year.

Adeleke University is a faith-based university based on its affiliation with Seventh Day Adventist Church, the world’s 2nd largest Christian school system. Admission Requirement

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old before admission can be offered.

• Candidates must attain a minimum UTME score of 150 for all programmes except Nursing Science, Medicine & Surgery, Pharmacy, Law, and Medical Laboratory Science.

• Applicants must upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS.

• Candidates offered admission must accept or reject the admission offer on JAMB CAPS before JAMB closes CAPS for the admission exercise.

• Candidates with five O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, are eligible to apply for JUPEB/Pre-degree admission.

• O’Level results from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB are accepted.

• Candidates with deficiencies in their O’Level results may apply for the JUPEB/pre-degree programme.

• Candidates awaiting their O’Level results may apply for the JUPEB/pre-degree programme.

• Candidates who have not written UTME or did not meet the required cut-off mark for their desired course may apply for the JUPEB/Pre-degree programme.

How to Pay School Fees as a Fresher & Returning Student at Adeleke University

Returning Students (200–500 Levels)

• All returning students are expected to complete their registration online through the school portal.

• Visit the student portal at eportal.adelekeuniversity.edu.ng.

• The student portal login page will appear.

• Enter your email address or matriculation number and password to log in.

• From the student dashboard, click on Fee Payment or Fee Payment/Receipt.

• On the fee payment page, click on Proceed to Payment to access the payment breakdown.

• Select the preferred payment option, such as 1st instalment or 2nd instalment, and click on Pay for the selected amount.

• On the confirmation page, click on Proceed to Payment Gateway and select Pay.

• On the payment gateway, enter the details of your InterSwitch-enabled debit/ATM card, including the card number, expiry date, card PIN and CVV2 code.

• Enter the OTP (One-Time Password) sent by your bank to your registered phone number.

• After successful payment, go to the Payment and Receipt page to print your receipt.

• After printing the receipt, click on Payment Clearance to print your registration and examination clearance for payment of the portal access fee.

• Take the printed clearance to the Students’ Accounts Unit in the Bursary Department for stamping and signing.

Important Points for Returning Students

• Students should ensure that the school portal is working properly before proceeding.

• ATM cards must be enabled for online transactions. Students should contact their banks if necessary.

• Students must have sufficient funds in their accounts to cover the selected instalment.

New Students (New Applicants)

• Click on Apply Now on the Admission Portal homepage, or select Start Application from the General Menu.

• Enter your details on the next page and click on Create Account.

• After successfully creating an account, log in with the account details created.

• Proceed to make payment for your application.

• Before making payment, carefully confirm that all the details supplied are correct.

Application Payment Information

• Undergraduate Application Form: ₦5,000

• Transfer Application Form: ₦10,000

• All fees are payable through the AdelekeUni InterSwitch Payment Integration Platform.

• Applicants will be redirected to the InterSwitch payment gateway to make payment for the application form.

• Applicants should have an InterSwitch-enabled debit/ATM card with the card number, expiry date, card PIN and CVV2 code.

• Ensure that the card has sufficient funds to cover the applicable fee.

• After successful payment, applicants can proceed to complete the application form.

Payment Note

• Confirm that all your details are correct before making payment.

• Successful payments cannot be refunded.

For Returning Applicants

• Log in with your details to access and complete the application form and application process.

• After completing the application, you can print your application form and payment receipt.

• To check your admission status and print your admission letter, return to the same admission processing site.

Important Note

• After submitting the application form, you will not be able to change the passport photograph or other details supplied.

• Confirm all your details and ensure that the passport photograph uploaded belongs to you before submitting the application form.

Admission Offered

• Candidates who are offered admission will be notified through email/SMS.

• After receiving the admission notification, candidates can print their admission letter and pay the acceptance fee through the admission portal.

• After paying the acceptance fee, the candidate will be migrated to the student portal.

• Tuition fees can then be paid through the student portal, either in full or by instalment.

Postgraduate Students

• Postgraduate students are advised to purchase bank drafts for their payments to make the registration process easier.

Exceptional Payment Cases

• Where a student needs to make payment through a bank, the student should obtain a bank draft from any bank for the amount due.

• The bank draft should be presented to the Bursary Department for receipt and further instructions.

• Students are advised not to pay through the bank teller to avoid unnecessary delays in receiving confirmation from the Bursary Department.

Penalty

• Any student who fails to comply with the bursary’s registration and payment instructions may be required to pay a ₦5,000 penalty as approved by management for handling charges.
